That's great! In both the Arbuckle and his own independent films, he did all on his own stunts and sometimes doubled for other people. After he went to MGM in 1928, they didn't want him doing really dangerous things so sometimes he had doubles for stunts involving cars, etc. After leaving MGM in 1932 or so, he sometimes had doubles but very rarely; it's almost all him. It is also all real--no special effects used. |
