Watching the good Clash of the Titans with the special effects by Ray B's boyhood friend, Ray Harryhausen. They have been friends for over 73 years. John King Tarpinian You know what you are, Mr. Bradbury? ... You are a poet! -- Aldous Huxley

How great is that!? A classic photo of these two masters (currently) should be immortalized!

As in RachelBlook.jpg, I believe. How on earth could you make that song innocuous without losing the meaning of it? It's one thing for Cee Lo to change one word to get a radio-safe version of "F*** You", but in that instance it was just an expletive. In Rachel's case, it literally means what it says! jkt suggested changing "fuck" to "love". I think it's a swell idea! Certainly, it won't pack the wallop of shock that the original did, but it'll become a big hit on commercial radio! "Live Forever!"

M RADIO is having a "Science Fiction Week", presenting a BBC Radio 4 series THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME from 1991. Second up is "Kaleidoscope" by Ray Bradbury. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Linnl,

That's a terrific production, which is actually a dramatisation of Ray's stage play (rather than an adaptation of his short story). It was historically significant, too, being the first radio play to be produced using a kind of sequencer/sampler. I can't remember the details, but I did some research on it, and wrote about it, a few years ago. Just one grumble: unless M Radio has hidden a copyright statement somewhere, this is BBC copyrighted material, and of course the play is copyrighted by Bradbury.
