Just for fun do a Wikipedia search for Sarsaparilla (or Sasparilla) and check out the first entry under Popular Culture.

I am watching The Kids are All Right and the WYSIWYG restaurant set they used is where the Father Electrico statue was first "concieved," so to speak. A converted power station.

I see what you mean. At 33 seconds in, you see a shot of the yard as viewed from the south (main) door. A magnificent structure is the substation. I was there about two weeks ago with Chris. Still as striking as ever.

Linnl, these are very clever presentations with many SciFi chronologies and futuristic ponderings. The interviews are quite informative per each author's point of view.

Yes, fjp451, I've only watched the first one so far. Its a celebration of and interview with Ray Bradbury (from 1992). Especially liked what he had to say about the story "The Playground", and the father/son relationship, and parenting in general.

That's what the whole Fr Electrico project is about. Slatoff told me that when he and Ray get together they talk about fathers.

I would have done, if only I looked at television. Tell us about it.
