I bought the Brian Wilson Xmas CD just this week! This was after hearing "Deck the Halls" from that album on the radio. I played the CD for a friend, and he went out and bought one, too. Brian's voice sounds great. For those not familiar with the album, it includes some Beach Boys Christmas Songs, traditional songs, and some new tunes written by Brian. Yes, I agree with you, the Great Brian Wilson. Catch Brian Wilson on the Kennedy Centers Honors show on December 26, 2007.

I think I just graduated to a new medium so this thread may have to be changed to "On the i-pod touch". I got one for Christmas and I love it, been listening to a lot of sixties rock but also much jazz. I still adore my records though! Some tenants that I had moved and left an old stack of audio equipment from the eighties. Nice turntable minus a needle, equalizer, amp, cd player & cassette player, stereo, no speakers though. I plugged them all in and tentatively tried them out and I think it will just need minor repairs and cleaning. My next big venture is going to be transferring the lps to a digital format. Happy New Year to all especially Ray!

fjp, so true about seashells in your ears & Martian singing books too! I hope the technilogical advances in all areas continues. I wish it would go faster in the alternate energy department for sure. I tried to do our first vinyl night at our new store Friday but the new l.p. player they bought sounded horrible and the speed would both increase and decrease so it was a flop unfortunately.

Some work to do at the screen?

Deja vu all over again. My assumption per your enjoying this DB has been proven accurate. I guess I'll need to get up "two hours before sunrise" - but then would most likely find the camp fire well flamed and the coffee just coming to a boil.
