Happy 98th birthday to film director and producer Roger Corman! While Mr. Corman is perhaps best known for his 1960's series of Edgar Allan Poe adaptations (often scripted by Richard Matheson), his finest film is arguably THE INTRUDER. That film has been previously mentioned on this Board. The screenplay of THE INTRUDER was by Ray Bradbury's close friend Charles Beaumont, and based on Mr. Beaumont's fine novel. The film starred William Shatner, with writers William F. Nolan, George Clayton Johnson and Charles Beaumont himself in supporting roles.
