Christopher Lee was the first actor to play the Captain (the Ahab figure) in Ray's LEVIATHAN '99, produced as a BBC radio play in 1968. I believe Lee was also Ray's first choice for Mr Dark when he was developing the film version of SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES in the mid-1970s. |
