I read this story over 10 years ago, so the details are a little vague, but it goes like this: A woman is taking a long bus trip cross country, and she keeps seeing a strange man, sometimes sitting next to her on the bus or sitting under a tree at a stop. He has the distant quality of being awake but mentally detatched. When the woman tries to speak to him, he responds cyptically, talking about a wind whistling through the trees in the summertime in Samarkand(or some kind of mythical place). That is all I remember; does anyone know what this is or if it is even by Bradbury?

Another not by Bradbury. Vaguely reminiscent of the classic "Twilight Zone" "The Hitchhiker" except he speaks only one line at the very end.
