Anyone who loves this story should check out the New York Times (and wire services) report in today's (8/15/09) NYT:
http://www.nytimes.com/aponlin...eople-Bob-Dylan.html

Or just go to New York Times web site and search for "Bob Dylan." Mr. Dylan was out for a stroll in a suburban neighborhood at 5:00 p.m. He was taken to police station when he could not produce satisfactory ID for police. Just as Mr. Bradbury predicted: It seems to be a crime for walking in New Jersey--even if you are Bob Dylan.

How did it feel to be on his own, like a complete unknown?

love the Dylan angle.

She stood silently looking out into the great sallow distances of sea bottom, as if recalling something, her yellow eyes soft and moist...

Sheesh ~
My best snowball fights, marble matches, path findings, mudpuddle stomps, games of catch, cornerstore ice cream munches, best friend /dog talks, and pig-tail pulls occurred on those wonderful walks from home to school and back home again (in sun - rain - snow - and wind)!
