I've been watching a bunch of old movies and notice that when the men go to sit down they almost always hitch up their trouser legs first. Every time I see that gesture I always think of Ray's story "The Fox and the Forest" and how a time traveler was caught by failing to do that. That's the only example I can think of right now but can you think of any?
