I work in retail, so I despise when people walk up to the register while on the phone and shove their stuff and point etc. If their total is say $3.98 or whatever, I usually calmly say; "that'll be three hundred and ninety eight dollars". Then I have their full attention and I hear the "hold on a minute....."
