Scheduled for release in August of 2025, from Tachyon Publications, is SPACE SHIPS! RAY GUNS! MARTIAN OCTOPODS! AN ORAL HISTORY OF SCIENCE FICTION, edited by Richard Wolinsky. This trade paperback, priced at $18.95, is comprised of interviews with science fiction writers and other luminaries of the genre that appeared on the public radio show PROBABILITIES over twenty years, starting the mid-1970's. Among those interviews included in the book are ones with Robert Bloch, Isaac Asimov, Harlan Ellison, Philip K. Dick and, yes, Ray Bradbury! From U.K. publisher PS Publishing: the anthology SHADOWPLAYS. It may be of interest to Ray Bradbury readers and collectors as it contains Ray's short story "If MGM Is Killed, Who Gets the Lion?" (which originally appeared in DRIVING BLIND). It's nice to know that Ray's stories are still being anthologized. SHADOWPLAYS was recently nominated for a 2025 Bram Stroker Award for Superior Achievement in An Anthology. The book is currently available as a trade paperback, and will also be available in the future as a limited edition hardcover:

New from Conversation Tree Press, a Canadian publisher: a hardbound edition of Ray Bradury's short story THERE WILL COME SOFT RAINS, limited to 300 copies signed by the illustrator. Unfortunately, the book sold out quickly, so it will need to be sought on the secondary market:

Per a mailing today from Subterranean Press, its new numbered edition of Ray Bradbury's DARK CARNIVAL, illustrated by Dave McKean, is about 90% sold out, meaning that there are only approximately 75 copies of this 750-copy edition still available. The book is priced at $225.00. (A more expensive and more limited lettered edition will also be offered, but Subterranean is not yet taking orders for that edition.)
