The "official" title is "Zen IN the Art of Writing" by Ray Bradbury himself.

There seems to be at least two additions currently available. The Table of Contents is different for each, but I don't know if the essays are simply listed under different titles (Bradbury's been known to change a title or two), or if they are different essays altogether. Someday I'll break down and buy the other edition, I'm sure.

Anyone with both editions care to enlighten us?

Anyway, you can always search a site like Amazon.com for the title and you'll get more details.

Thank you very much! A progress report if you wish....I have been able to locate a copy of Zen, but that is all. I believe it will help me greatly though.

WritingReptile: I enjoy your name! It reminds me of a book store I used to visit...they had lizards and animals all over the place!

Thanks again!

No one's ever complimented my name before! Sounds like a very interesting book store you were in. I have a leopard gecko in a 30 gallon terrarium on my desk--he's my writing companion, which is sort of where I got the name.

By the way, the contents of the two editions of Zen aren't THAT different, as my previous post seems to imply. I think there may be two or three different essays (or maybe just the title). Looks like most of the book is similar.

It's not a big enough project to be published, just something for my Honors Language Arts Class, but I will most certainly put you under acknowledgements and such.
