I'm trying to find a story that I thought Bradbury wrote. It was about two boys in a neighborhood who dream of leaving their hometown and flying (rockets? can't remember). As I recall, at the story's conclusion, one of them is chosen when an aircraft of some sort lands in front of his home and takes him away.
Does anybody know the title of this story?

How About "R is for Rocket"? Anyone want to confirm this or rule it out?

Just off the top of my head, I'd confirm it. I can think of no other story that comes close to the plot as described. (Wonderfully moving, too. A prime example of how Bradbury manages to exceed the genre.)
