Sadly, the noted British writer J.G. Ballard has passed away. He was probably best known for his controversial novel, CRASH, and EMPIRE OF THE SUN, an autobiographical novel based on his childhood experiences in a Japanese prison camp during the Second World War.

"Maude" and "Golden Girls", both shows I used to watch occasionally. On a side note, R&B legend Donny Hathaway did the theme music for "Maude".
