The link below will take you to MIRRORS, a 1978 horror film about voodoo, set in New Orleans. It was directed by Noel Black, perhaps best known for the cult classic PRETTY POISON, which starred Tuesday Weld and Anthony Perkins. Mr. Black also directed THE ELECTRIC GRANDMOTHER, a 1982 TV version of Ray's short story, "I Sing the Body Electric". That show starred Maureen Stapleton and Edward Herrmann, and Ray liked it very much. The screenplay for MIRRORS is credited to writer and educator Sid Stebel. Mr. Stebel, who passed away at age 97 in 2020, had been friends with Ray Bradbury since the late 1940's, and Ray called him the "best writing teacher who ever was." What makes the film of interest to Ray Bradbury fans is that he received a film credit as "Creative Consultant". Given their close friendship, it would not be surprising if Mr. Stebel bounced ideas off of Ray, and if Ray provided his thoughts about the script. However, if you watch the film, don't get your expectations too high. Despite Ray's involvement, as well as the other talent involved, it's not an especially good movie:
