Dame You!

Braling, am laughing so hard right now, I can't hardly write. Frost wrote a short poem about having a bad day and how the color of the sunset redeemed it. Reading that salvaged my day! I'm not going into it for all your sake. I was puzzling over that, thinking...hmmm, now what movie was he in that had that in it, then I glanced up and re-read my post.

When you can't spell at all;
Give the Bot a call...

Hello, Mr. Dark. I'm glad to catch one of your posts and, as always, impressed by your knowledge and modesty. I only pass through on occasion and lurk far more than post so it's good to "hear" one of the "old" voices. This board is as lively as ever but surely those who know you will agree you've been missed.

I hope all is well with you and yours.

Best,

Pete

Robot Lincoln,
Dame, dame and double dame, sir! Once more the carp rears it’s head above the shimmering waters of lake booboo.

Watch the language in here, cause I'm sure not. Chapter31, I live with the fishes. I don't know wherefore everyone definately plaques me all the time about my spelling. Judge not lest ye be Judy.

“…plaques me…”? “…lest ye be Judy”? Time to ship oars maties, though the lake be becalmed and the carp retired to the murky depths.

My question is: Did Carl ever leave home without it?

Eleven o’clock high, from out of the sun, whack! Blast from the past. You really got me with that one, biplane 1. My sides are aching.

Glad that you caught that Chapter 31. I am sure that that ad kept Carl afloat for many a year and, apparently, still is if the guy is hanging in there at 90+. He sure had a proboscis though!

Watch your spelling around those carp! A teacher friend transposed the middle two letters and was called upon the "carp"et for insubordination!

Biplane, & all, dontcha love those old t.v. ads. Who wears short shorts, or Legs, how bout the gorilla trying to destroy the suitcase, or even better Elmira Gulch selling coffee, Sally the quicker picker upper(mothers little helper?), my all time favorite, The crying Indian with trash strewn at his feet(sad, but true). Talk about a wave of nostalgia, plane!

Hi Pete:

Always good to see your posts, as well. I'm still wanting to provide you with home cooked spaghetti (well, okay, Ragu Old World Style Traditional) on your next trip down to Dallas. I'm a good stopping point. My email has changed. I am at ericpalfreyman@yahoo.com now.

Best,

Mr. Dark

Bot, One interesting thing about the famous "crying Indian" known as Iron Eyes Cody - he was an Italian American!

Braling II, quite an interesting story if I say so myself. Iron Eyes sure looked like an American Indian. The deception that we all have to live with. Did anyone have to look up the word proboscis? Thought I would throw that one in regard to the one and only Carl Maulden.
