There is a beautiful passage from one of Ray's books that goes something like this:
What does _____ smell like? It smells like _______. And going further, what does ______ look like....THis is how ______ smells and looks and sounds.
Does anyone know what the word is that would fill in the blank, and what novel it is from?

perhaps dandelion wine?
