The 2004 documentary short film video The Optimistic Futurist consists of a conversation between film historian Leonard Maltin and author Ray Bradbury about Walt Disney. Leonard Maltin is extremely knowledgeable about this among many other subjects and guides the conversation expertly. Ray Bradbury adds the perfect touch, as he knew Disney and helped plan and design Disney’s EPCOT Center. The focus is on Disney’s optimistic futurism and visions of the future which he presented to the public. Tomorrowland was a major feature of Disneyland. This is a refreshing and invigorating little excursion into the mind of a genius by two other geniuses. Recommended. | |||
