Hi boyerga, and welcome to the message board.

It probably depends what level you are studying at, but "citable literary criticism sites" may be a contradiction in terms! Unless you have specifically been asked to use the web for your research, you will almost certainly be better off looking for BOOKS that will help you.

Some good starting points for your quest would be GOOGLE BOOKS and GOOGLE SCHOLAR:

http://books.google.com/
http://scholar.google.com

The latter will search "scholarly" sources only, which should pull up information on books and academic journals. (Some of these will then be viewable online, but some will require you to either locate the book/journal as hard copy, or gain access through an academic library, such as a university library.)

You might also find this site to be a fair starting point, although it doesn't contain much other than links, and has little on Bradbury.

fjp, I am known for my patience, which is probably why I ended up in teaching! Your Library of Congress link is great - I've bookmarked it for future reference.

boyerga, glad to have been of assistance. Given that you are studying F451, you might want to do a Google search for "Fahrenheit 451 study guide", as I'm sure you will find something from Pink Monkey or Sparknotes or other study guide providers. They may or may not be of the appropriate academic level for your needs, though.
