This song fits perfectly with certain of Ray's stories. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjlJ2F646bA

Personally I subscribe to the sea monster theory. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/new...after-100-years.html The detail of the voices on the wind is very Bradburyesque too. http://www.historic-uk.com/His...-Lighthouse-Mystery/This message has been edited. Last edited by: dandelion,

One of the especially enjoyable elements of teaching RB works, then - and now, was bringing in the significance of his allusions to class members. One had to pay very close attention to words, phrasings, character's names, and historic references. For within these at times subtle textual inclusions the metaphoric genius of Mr. Bradbury shone brightly. One of my favorite musical leads is found in his story "The Big Black and White Game," written many years before anyone else had stepped to the fore with racially significant themes (published in 1945!!). Take a few moments and ENJOY! Mr. Bradbury would be pleased... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4lrdawmUg8

Incredible imagery in this Pink Floyd (coming release) Endless River video. Many of Mr. Bradbury's stories flashed to mind as the song played on... http://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialPinkFloyd

The recent two-part episode of American Horror Story: Freakshow featured the character of Edward Mordrake, a Mr Dark-like entity who brings his horrors into the small town of Jupiter, FL, seeking out those freaks whose dark stories of pain would feed the requirement of the face on the back of his own head. Read about it here. ![]() "Live Forever!"
