Specific article link and some comments on it.

This is not a "Patriot act" event as much as a "child welfare" event.

OK, thanks.

Yeah - I felt really sorry for those poor children having to be there without a teacher for that evening. I hope they weren't warped!

"The Chicago Abyss" We just read it in class today. Great story about a storyteller who refuses to step down in the face of legal restriction at every turn. This occurrence, with "Dandelion Wine-young actors", is perfect. (At the end of the Chicago Abyss, an eight year old boy becomes the old storyteller's next apprentice.)

The other evening at the DW opening, didn't these actors learn the most important lesson of their young lives from the greatest literary teacher of the past century. What irony! He lovingly offered his character and grace for all to share.

Again the metaphors of Ray Bradbury come to life. Everyone there who supported Mr. B and conducted themselves so admirably on his behalf should be publicly commended.

DS: Share a copy of this short story with them and let them know they, too, are apprentices!

A close up from last night's Ray Bradbury LIVE!

Please note the Halloween Tree, which was dedicated to Mr. B on the 31st at Disneyland. The base is black cast iron with The Sorcerer's Apprentice embossed on the base. The tree itself is black tinsel. Each branch has a pumpkin with a bubble light on top.

Dandelion Wine resumes tonight.

Love the Dark Christmas Tree - black is such a cheerful colour for Christmas.
