I met Ray Bradbury at the Comic-Con in San Diego a little while ago. His assistant was wheeling him around on the merchandise floor. I was so freaked out when I saw him. He's my hero. I had no idea how to approach him and what to say. I must have followed him for almost ten minutes clutching my copy of Something Wicked This Way Comes trying to get enough nerve to say something . Finally, my boyfriend tapped him on his shoulder and asked him to take a picture with me. He said "sure" with a big smile and the rest is history

That's a wonderful story. I'm at work, so can't post a long message, but I'd be happy to share a story or two soon.

Would you be able to post the photo here, or perhaps link it? I think it would be great if we could create some sort of "Gallery" section on this site where we can post photos...That way we can share our happy meetings, and also put faces to each other's names! I'd be happy to share a photo or two also, if this could be done (Dandelion? )

Don't think there's a way to post a photo directly. Someone did share a link to a website with some photos of a meeting.

That's too bad...I think it would be a nice thing for us all to be able to share like that.
