When I was but a wee lad, I was entranced by an essay on Halloween that appeared in the early to mid 70's in Reader's Digest. Don't remember much of it, other than the phrase "ancient with H. Rider Haggard", describing Ray's uncle's(?) library. Does anyone know if that is still in print somewhere or on the web? John Carter, Desklord of Mars | |||
