I am searching for an old short-story that I read as I child, and I believe it was written by Ray Bradbury. The plot revolves around the invention of a pleasure machine. Anyone who listens to the machine is hypnotized by it and becomes immobile. If I recall correctly, the ending of the story has the machine end up in the hands of someone who is planning to use it to take over the world. Please let me know if any of you can remember what the name of this story is.

This sounds vaguely like a lot of things but not exactly like any one story. You might try Booksleuth at Abebooks. http://forums.abebooks.com/dis...g/abesleuthcom?dbg=6
