Symphony Space in New York City was scheduled last year to have a celebration of the centennial of Ray Bradbury's birth, hosted by Neil Gaiman, which sadly was cancelled due to the pandemic. However, there was a prior Bradbury-related event which occurred there. The links below will take you to a reading of Ray's short story "The Veldt", by comedian and late night talk show host Stephen Colbert, which occurred at Symphony Space a few years ago as part of its celebration of the art of the short story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_Ayo5Apacs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jViI2sHPCo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXpY35f7P6Y

FAHRENHEIT 451 featured prominently in tonight's monologue on THE STEPHEN COLBERT SHOW which can be accessed by the link below. Reference to Ray's novel shows up at about the three minute mark, but unless you watch the preceding minute or two, you won't get the joke! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-g_Y0N6kxQ
