With this month being the 50th Anniversary of the publication of Dandelion Wine it is only fitting that Ray's next play will be taken from this work of genius. The opening night is on the 29th. Mr. B is scheduled to attend the premiere. There will be a very special presentation at this event. I will post more once all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed. At the Mystery Book Shoppe signing a couple weeks ago, I told him, "happy anniversary -Dandelion Wine was published fifty years ago this month!" "Oh my God", he said. I don't think he had thought of it. I think Dark Carnival is coming up on sixty next month, isn't it? "Live Forever!"

Is this the same script that was used for the audio drama version released earlier this year?

I've not sat in on any of the rehearsals but Ray tends to improve upon past performances. He may drop one act and add another. I was at the theatre last night, to arrange stuff in the lobby, and did not even peek inside to see the final stage for fear of disturbing the actors and the director. I was lucky enough to have been able to sit-in on some of the rehearsals last night along with the publicity shoot. The costuming is very evocative of the period. Being the dummy that I am I forgot to bring my camera. I do have a few cell phone shots that I may post later tonight if any are worth viewing.
