I don't know who the author is or the name of the book. It was a story I read about 35 years ago. I believe it was a short story collection. Story about a man who goes to a bone doctor (don't know if they specified chiropractor) and visit by visit the doctor removes his bones. Anyone out there know this story?

"Skeleton," by Ray Bradbury--definitely not about your average patient or bone doctor!

Thank you! I've been thinking about this story alot lately (odd) and could not find any hints from the internet. Appreciate the name. I must reread it.

Ah, M.Munigant and his delicious...breadsticks. Now THAT's a great Halloween story. planter, you can find it in the following Bradbury books: Dark Carnival, The October Country, The Vintage Bradbury, The Stories of Ray Bradbury. - Phil Deputy Moderator | Visit my Bradbury website: www.bradburymedia.co.uk | Listen to my Bradbury 100 podcast: https://tinyurl.com/bradbury100pod

Thanks Phil. Was going to go online to the library to order it. Now I know which books to reserve.

Since reading this story, at least one friend of mine has never touched breadsticks again!

I wonder if today's FRANK & ERNEST cartoon was inspired by a certain Ray Bradbury story? Click on the link below to take a look: https://www.gocomics.com/frank-and-ernest/2023/07/31
