Hi all...I've written a song based on Bradbury's "The Rocket Man" short story from "R is For Rocket". My group (http://www.urbantapestry.org) is performing it at a panel at a sf convention this weekend, but need to read a short excerpt from the story. I -do- have the book, but it is buried in a box right now, augh! I would deeply appreciate it someone could e-mail me a paragraph from the story (please don't post it on the board since that would likely violate copyright)...any paragraph will do since Bradbury is SUCH a great writer. My e-mail is ohi@electricpenguin.com. The catch is that I need it by Thursday afternoon. :-( If you're interested, the chords and lyrics to my song are at http://www.electricpenguin.com/urbantapestry/songs/homecoming.txt. I'm a MAJOR Bradbury fan, and got his autograph over twenty years ago. Many, many thanks in advance! Debbie Ridpath Ohi http://www.electricpenguin.com/ohi/

Wow, that was a fast response (I already received an e-mail from someone who said they have the book). Thanks so much, everyone. :-) Debbie http://www.blatherings.com
