On March 28, 2023, the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum and the Grayslake Area Public Library will hold a discussion of Ray Bradbury's novel, FAHRENHEIT 451. Leading the discussion will be Mary Ann Bretzlauf, College of Lake County English professor who developed a course on Banned Books, and taught FAHRENHEIT 451 among other fiction and nonfiction books challenged at school and public libraries. Joining the discussion are Pat O'Keefe, whose career has included educational publishing and high school English literature teaching, and Sandra Petroshius, Ray Bradbury Experience Museum Chair. The event will take place from 7 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum, 164 Hawley Street, Greyslake, Illinois. Pre-registration is required.
