I am trying to work out whether the following story is Ray Bradbury tale...

Basic synopsis is A scientist has a computer that predicts an earthquake, and the scientist thinks the prediction is wrong... but an earthquake hits, and all of the USA falls into the sea except California.... (meaning the computer was right)...

any help naming this story would be appreciated...

I'm going for 95% not Bradbury.
