What do you think about the ending. Do you like how Clarisse and Mantag ended up. If there was one thing to change what would it be, and if you could re make the ending of the book, what would you make it?

I personally am not a big fan of cliffhangers, though they can be a very effective literary device. The ending of F451 seemed to lead into the sequal which never was written. The ending leaves it all up to your imagination, which is good to an extent, personally I wish the book was extended to include a fourth part. As for Montag I like how he ended up, he followed his heart and was able to help the cause, which seems to me to have been his life purpose, though he didnt know it. As for Clarisse, one of my favorite charcters, I wish she didn't die, but there's no use in trying to change what has already been written, unless your Ray.
