Some info needed from a frequently visitor of Mr. B (DS, jkt)!? If a dvd were to be received by our favorite writer, who would assist him with the viewing of the recording. Some of my students have completed a wonderful project for him. They (15-16yr. olds) have been really "inspired" by their readings and have composed various artistic expressions in honor of Mr. Bradbury.

The music portion only runs four minutes but is quite moving and was selected after the completion of Dandelion Wine. I think Mr. Bradbury would find their work thoughtful and spirited. He will love the musical and DW metaphors the kids created from their recent studies.

*Any info would assist in my final details in sharing with him. Thanks.

Well, my visits pale in comparison to some, but I would be glad to assist if you wanted to send it to me. I'll take it next time I go (which, I hope, will be soon), and tell him who sent it and put it on for him if he fancies. Or you could send it to him, and someone (perhaps me) could play it for him at some point. But be aware that if you send it to him, it may take a while to locate! Let's just say he's surrounded by his metaphors.

DS: Thanks for the info and offer. Since there are some items of size, I may mail and hope for the best. Maybe I'll send you a note on items to look for, or you could inquire about the NNY Love Letter when you get to visit Mr. B in the coming weeks. (Are you West Coaster now!?)

Rosi Hollinbeck, I enjoyed your Bradbury post. But also, even though I'm not a teacher or parent, I'm somewhat shocked by the apparent apathy? of these otherwise bright young adults.
