When I first read Long After Midnight at 12 I knew I wanted to write and create magic. Today I'm a professional magician (and Magic Castle Member) and I'm about to launch a new play about Ray. Several years ago Ray and I did a number of theatre projects together including The October Country and Falling Upward (at Theatre West in LA). In the former I played Ray (he'd greet me every day by calling out "Hello, Young Ray!") and I'll be playing him again in this new play in the fall.
