I started reading Bradbury in 8th grade with F451 and then read Something Wicked This Way Comes. I got hooked after SWTWC. I also read Madeleine L'Engle avidly in junior high.

Both authors connected somehow in my mind, although Bradbury lays on a higher plane for me. It wasn't that they were both 'fantasy' writers, but that they both so obviously valued life so much. After reading articles on them both recently, I realized that they truly do love the art of living. Especially Ray. I think one of the reasons I re-read both of their books is for that reason. They give me that feeling of LIVE LIVE LIVE.
