Fantastic! If I ever get to Indiana (soon to be home of the Center for Ray Bradbury Studies!), I will look out for these giants. - Phil Deputy Moderator | Visit my Bradbury website: www.bradburymedia.co.uk | Listen to my Bradbury 100 podcast: https://tinyurl.com/bradbury100pod | ||||

I have to throw this in as well. In the window of the Cawker City's site was a rendition of Grant Wood's American Gothic. The house that Grant Wood either took a photo of or a very detailed sketch, is in Eldon, Iowa. Eldon, Iowa is eleven (11) miles from Ottumwa, Iowa where I grew up. Grant Wood lived in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and was apparently driving through Eldon when he saw the house. The older man in the painting is his dentist the woman is the dentist's sister. I will try later to post actual photos of the house which still stand in Eldon (also the site of Tom Arnold and Roseanne Barr's restaurant Tom & Roseanne's Big Food Diner). This message has been edited.
