Who quoted good artists borrow, great artists steal? In any case, we are all influenced by others. I don't think Moore is really guilty as Mr Bradbury has charged him.

All this brings to mind what the Catholic Church and Catholics thought when a raunchy unashamed singer came out with the name of ...'Madonna', back in the late 1970's. Madonna was synonymous of the Virgin Mary, pure, undefiled, held in honor. This was another 'strut' by the young generation against historic standards, and wasn't taken lightly. But what could they do? It was her given birth name. When her parents christened her Madonna, they couldn't have known she'd turn out like that. On the other hand, when someone in Scotland wanted to name their little girl Princess, the British Crown argued that Princess is a title and cannot be used as a name. (It must be used plenty as a nickname!) Don't know who won that one. Here in America, "Prince" was the singer's given name--not good enough, it seems, as he's now "The Artist Formerly Known as Prince." Michael Jackson has also named at least one of his sons Prince.
