I have met Mr. Bradbury twice. On the campus of Cal State Northridge, (a couple of decades ago), we shared some sweet summer wine, and cheese. It was my birthday and for the theme of Halloween he drew a devil on my paper plate and signed it. I was in heaven. I told him how he had changed my life as a child.. The second time was a few years ago. I was walking into a popular Toluca Lake eatery with my kids and my ex-husband, who all know how much I love Ray. He was coming out with his associate and his walker. I was flushed with anticipation, and reminded him of my adoration for him. He kissed me on the cheek. I didn't wash my face for days!
