I'm not sure how much money Michael Moore made. The movie itself made $119 million. An internet search didn't turn up much, mostly bulletin board rantings, but nobody around here has been subjected to any of that, right?

The closest comparison I could think of was Mel Gibson and his Passion of the Christ. The movie grossed 600 million and (in that same article) it shows Mel made roughly 200 million, with about 150 million more coming after it comes out on DVD/video.

So, an unscientific comparison would say Moore made 30 million or more, and stands to make maybe 20 million more after DVD/video earnings..

Do you want to know just how much influence "Fahrenheit 9/11" had?? It won the highest award you can get for a movie (although I can't think of the name right off the top of my head...)

But I don't get it.

Moore's movie made more than any actual entertainment film ever made! That just goes to show how many people want to see something against the president...sheesh!

So, $50mil! Not bad for an anti-capitalism socialist.
