I have seen The Electric Grandmother: this is a film starring Maureen Stapleton, based on "I Sing the body Electric". The screenplay was co-written by Bradbury. It's a pretty good adaptation, but I find it a bit sickly sweet. The Magic Lantern website seems to be offering two versions, the full version and a 30min version. I have only seen the full version. "All Summer" and "The Invisible Boy" are, I believe, made by the same company as "Grandmother" (Learning Corporation of America). I haven't seen either of these, but I assume them to be in a similar style to "Grandmother". As for "Something Wicked", I haven't seen the version on sale at Magic Lantern, but from the description I believe it to be a cut-down version of the feature film (it says the producer is Disney, the makers of the full-length feature film). Quite HOW it has been cut down, I have no idea. I hope this helps. - Phil | ||||
