Oh, my! I met her once. The joy of life shone through her even in that short time I was with her. I met her through Ray at Frost and Fire.

Author Mark Bourne, who also directed some of Ray's plays, has died at age 50. A link to details of his passing is below.

This is creepy and sad because after the Oscars I was just thinking how it is strange all the major characters from The Sound of Music are still alive when from some shows the same age it's practically a wipeout. I never liked the Berenstain Bears, All in the Family, or even the old Life of Riley. These all prtrayed the father as a doofus. Now, more than ever in our culture, our families need good dad role models.
