Hello, everyone! This is my first post here, and I could use your help. I was looking up motivational quotes for a presentation I have to give, and I came across this one: "If you put a small value on yourself, rest assured that the world will not raise your price." Every site but one lists it as authorship unknown or anonymous. The one site that attributes it to a specific author says it's by Ray Bradbury. Not having read everything by him, I was hoping I might get confirmation here. Has anyone here found this in one of his numerous books, stories, or lectures? I would love to be able to accurately attribute it in my work. Thank you! This message has been edited. Last edited by: EvilEmpryss,

More of a Mark Twain or Benjamin Franklin quote. I say this because Bradbury rarely speaks of monetary gain, (except talking about what he was paid in early writing efforts), in things he talks about. It likely, however, is one of those quotes that are picked up somewhere and the author of it is never known.

Thank you very much for responding. I figured it would probably remain anonymous, but on the off-chance that the one person to put an author to it might have known the truth. Ah, well, thanks anyway!
