My publisher has received permission to include June 2001 in a short story anthology I am editing. In it, the character Gibbs later becomes Biggs. I've always assumed this was a typo, but it's the same in every edition I've seen. I've tried to contact Mr. Bradbury and the publishers but haven't gotten an answer. Does anyone know which name it should be -- or if the shift is intentional? Anne

In der deutschen bersetzung konnte ich keinen Gibbs entdecken, hier gibt es nur einen Biggs. In the German translation exist only Biggs. The variant Gibbs doesnt exist.

It should be "Biggs" all the way through...In the new Avon printing (1997) the mistake is corrected. Hope this helps! Greg
