I recently was fortunate enough to acquire a typewritten draft of Ray Bradbury's fine poem, "Remembrance II", which was published in his poetry collection, WHEN ROBOT MICE AND ROBOT MEN RUN ROUND IN ROBOT TOWNS. The draft of the poem had originally been given as a Christmas gift by Ray to Nard Kordell, way back in 1977, as the handwritten inscription on the folder containing the poem indicates. Nard, of course, was a long-time close friend of Ray Bradbury, and a frequent and valued contributor to this Forum until his untimely passing in 2010. The folder also notes, in Ray's handwriting, "Conceived on train on way from Waukegan, Illinois to San Francisco-May-1976-".
