Nolan gave Ray his special Pulitzer citation that Ray had been unable to travel to New York to receive personally. How deserving Mr. Bradbury was in receiving his 2007 Pulitzer Award!

When we travelled to attend his 89th BD celebration at the M&I Bookstore in 2009, we were so honored to meet and to speak with George Clayton Johnson, William Nolan, John King Tarpinian, Bo Derek, Malcomb and Christine Bell, and so many other friends and fans of Mr. Bradbury.

The welcoming and sincere conversations shared with my wife, me, and our then two young sons were beyond explanation. Much like Mr. Bradbury's writings, his friendships were influential and unique!
