In 2000, Ray Bradbury traveled to the University of North Alabama at the invitation of Terry Pace. A local theater presented several of Ray's plays under the title THE WORLD OF RAY BRADBURY, and Ray donated a number of signed copies of his plays to the University's George Lindsey Television and Film Collection of scripts and memorabilia. Actor George Lindsey was an alumnus of the University and, interestingly enough, appeared in the famed production of Ray's short story "The Jar" on THE ALFRED HITCHCOCK HOUR.
