does anyone know how I could get a copy of the short film of the Veldt

Hi Christine, and welcome. If you are referring to the 1979 short film (directed by Diane Haak): I'm pretty certain this isn't commercially available. 16mm film prints occasionally show up on eBay, but of course you would need a 16mm film projector to view it, so probably not a practical proposition. However, there is another short version of "The Veldt" which IS available on DVD, an episode of RAY BRADBURY THEATER. The script is by Bradbury himself. It's part of the DVD set of the complete series, which is ridiculously cheap: http://www.amazon.com/Ray-Brad...ray+bradbury+theater - Phil Deputy Moderator | Visit my Bradbury website: www.bradburymedia.co.uk | Listen to my Bradbury 100 podcast: https://tinyurl.com/bradbury100pod

The short film made of Ray Bradbury's short story, "The Veldt", can be viewed by clicking on the link below. It was produced by BFA Educational Media, and directed by Dianne Haack. It is not the version which appears in the film, THE ILLUSTRATED MAN, or the version which appeared on the Ray Bradbury Theater. However, it is unclear when the film was made. I have seen release dates of 1974, 1978 and 1979 when browsing the Internet. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIKOQK18kvo
