One of Ray Bradbury's best friends was author Robert Bloch, author of PSYCHO and other scary novels and short stories. And Mr. Bloch has long been one of my favorite writers. Back in 1945, Robert Bloch wrote 39 episodes of a radio show broadcast out of Chicago called STAY TUNED FOR TERROR, based on his own short stories. The show is a legendary rarity and, until very recently, no recordings of the show had been unearthed. Recently, recordings of two of the shows scripted for the series by Mr. Bloch have been discovered, "The Boogey Man Will Get You" and "Lizzie Borden Took An Ax". If you like old-time radio horror shows such as LIGHTS OUT, you'll probably enjoy these shows as well.
