Craig Graham called me last night, and had received the first copies of the limited edition Fahrenheit 451 he is publishing. The book is illustrated with 21 color illustrations by the infamous British illustrator, Ralph Steadman (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas). I'm excited to see it in print because my wife and I have been working with them laying out the book and doing the color separations for almost a year. The book is limited to a total of 451 copies, all signed, in 3 different bindings and limitations. If all goes as it should, they will be debuting it at the book show at the Concourse in San Francisco in 2 weeks.

Hey, that's in my neck of the woods. What's the price of the book? Is there an admission price to get into the exposition? In that city EVERYTHING is expensive.

I'm not sure if they've established a price on the books yet. There was a pre-publication price at last year's bookshow, but I won't even repeat it, because I know it's more now. As far as admission to the book show, it's $5 or $10 depending on how many days. Check out abaa.com or sfbookfair(?).com.
