Hello. I teach 8th grade literature in a small Catholic School. I'm creating a curriculum. I will be, reading with my class,"The Man" out of The Illustrated Man. They in turn will be asked to form an opinion about the story and discuss what they think. What I'm seeking from anyone is your opinion, that I may use as an example of how readers contemplate what ideas or thoughts they have when they take in literature. For example: At what point did you connect the character of the "elusive man" with a real character from experiences in your life? -OR- What did you think about Captain Hart? Any feedback is welcome as long as you don't mind me using it with a gaggle of students. Thanks! | |||
