I believe that if we want to remember Ray Bradbury for the true font of creativity, humanitarianism, and gentleness that he was, we could do far worse than to buy a book or books for a library or libraries. This could be an ongoing campaign...we could buy a book for Ray's birthday every year. After all, every library is in so many ways his monument. Does anyone have any thoughts? I'd like to see the idea get some publicity if others are interested. The Internet is a powerful force for generating "buzz"...let us use it to help keep the books Ray Bradbury and so many of us love so well alive for future generations to discover and perhaps, just perhaps, find a bit of the sense of wonder that Ray never seems to have lost. "We love you. Remember that. We all love you. No matter how different you are, no matter if you leave us one day" --"Homecoming".

And include a memorial bookplate saying, "This book is donated in Memory of Ray Bradbury."
